The Founder

Blessed to be at the beach Debbie and her five grandchildren Katalina, Klaudia, Karmine, Talia and Emerick.

Debbie Medina-Gach is a woman of gratefulness, passion, and purpose who founded We Care Crusade, a non-for profit committed to helping children who have special needs and their families. It is her deepest desire to not only provide financial assistance, but to contribute to the emotional health of these families as well.

With her integrity, honesty, and tenacious work ethic she sets her goals high with like-minded individuals. The board of directors she personally asked to be involved brings unsurpassed experience, spirit, and dedication. Together they are creating an opportunity to grow this organization along with key contributors, volunteers, and those who share the same belief of wanting to make a difference, however large or small, in the lives of these precious children and their families.

Debbie has had her share of losses and successes. She owns and operates a tequila company Senor Rio tequila, dedicated to her late Father. She lost her husband Jonathan Gach and Co-Founder of Senor Rio tequila in 2018 to pancreatic cancer. It is his Legacy and memory that gives her strength each day to continue what started as their vision.

She is humbled and honored to be able to give back and used her own funds to start this non-for-profit. It is her hope that she may continue to do so and is pledging to donate $1.00 for every tequila bottle sold in the United States to WCC. Over the past decade, she and Jonathan have donated to many causes. There are a tremendous number of charities doing great things she adds, and it just feels good to give back. Please visit https://www.senorrio.com/giving-back to learn more about their support.

The story behind WCC began in 2015 when Debbie's identical twin granddaughter's Katalina and Klaudia were born prematurely weighing less than 5 lbs. each. WCC is dedicated to them, and they are Debbie's heroes. Both girls have cerebral palsy and Angelman syndrome. To understand more about these two beautiful girls please visit the "Meet Katalin and Klaudia" section.
